Well so was I! For over 10 years I have been working away trying to make something of myself. But it seemed no matter what I did, my life stayed the same. I did know from reading books on personal growth that if I wanted change it needed to start with me, so I went back to school and got my Master’s in Business but yet something inside me was still missing. To tell you the truth even with my Master’s I felt I was still living the same life and I wanted more. So on October 1, 2008 I quit my job of ten years, cashed in my 401k, and set off into the world of business ownership to make something of myself. Then pretty much a year after I quit my job, reality hits! Hello Jose, welcome to failure!
Luckily, January 28, 2009, five months into my first business I joined a small company called Jus International; it was a New Network Marketing company, which to tell you the truth I thought I would NEVER join an MLM company in my lifetime, but after looking at the compensation plan I felt their was a lot of potential to make money. I felt the potential to make money was so great that I moved all my energy into making this new venture a success. Right away I went out bought every book on Network Marketing. I went to every opportunity meeting, talked to all my friends and family about Jus, basically I invested 100% of my time and money into building a huge business, one that would help recoup all my past money and put me on the path to financial freedom!
I am happy to report as of December 6th, 2009 almost a year into joining Jus International. I have a down line of 5 people!!! Yeah you heard me right 5 active people, meaning that my payout is exactly $25 dollars a month residual. Now If I was living in a third world country, $25 dollars a month would be a lot, but here in America it is not!! So almost 15 months after leaving my job and starting 2 companies, I am BROKE, getting divorced, and the Bank is foreclosing on my home!
So with 2 business failures under my belt, I sat at my computer late one night, wondering how I am going to afford a Christmas gift for my three-year-old son! When it hit me!!! The number one reason I have yet to succeed is because I have not been following any system. I have spent 15 months doing things without direction and then expecting everyone I signed up to do the same! So NOW with NO MONEY and THE BANK knocking at my door, I went out in search of a system that would help me start making some money to be able to afford my three year old a Christmas. At that moment I wasn’t concerned about the bank taking back my house or about having to put 4 bucks of gas at a time in my car! All I cared about was making a memory for my son!
I think once I stop thinking about myself. I was able to turn to my makers plan! For the last year I thought that just because I had my Master’s in Business, I had all the skills necessary to build a HUGE business! But skills without direction means nothing. What I finally realized was I was not following a “system,” a set of procedures. Think about it! How can a restaurant like McDonald’s run successfully with 15 year olds running the place? Easy! The founders understood that success came from having the best “system” in place, not the best burger! That is why I created The“Why Not Me” Success System!
“Why Not Me” is a system that incorporates some of the best systems used by some of the biggest distributors in other MLM companies. Looking back on all their growth, It was their system that helped them grow down lines in the thousands. Those Leader understood that you need to have a system so simple it can be incorporated with success by anyone!
Within the first week of using my “Why Not Me” success system, I was able to sponsor 6 people. Making a quick $200 dollars in Fast Start Money and an extra $200 dollar in bonuses! That was $400 dollars that has so far helped me put a FULL tank of Gas in my car and presents under the tree for my son! My team has also started to incorporate my “Why Not Me” success system with great success! My hope is to be out of foreclosure within the next three months and with “Why Not Me” success system I can finally see that happening.
Success is NOT determined by hard work. If you think it is, just look around. Everyday I see hard workers struggling to pay their bills and get ahead. Ditch diggers work harder than you or I ever will. And, they can dig harder and harder everyday without making their paycheck or lives one bit better.
Success is also NOT determined by talent. There are countless talented people starving. The same holds true for intelligence. What really matters is finding the shortcut and applying where it is most likely to work. At that point, it’s all about persistence. But, without the shortcut…. without the insider information…you will forever be like a dog chasing its tail, working harder and harder while getting further and further away from your goal.
Unless you get lucky. Which does happen from time to time. But, I wouldn’t bank on luck. And while we are on the subject of luck…Beware of taking advice from someone whose success was nothing more than the product of a set of lucky circumstances. Most of the time, those lucky circumstances will never be repeated.
I have come to realize that “hoping something will happen is not a course of action!” If you truly want to make a difference in your life it takes the right system, planning, and execution! So what are you going to do!!!! Continue to walk the same path! Or are you going to step into the direction of prosperity! My “Why Not Me” success system can help you achieve your goals!!!! 7 Recruiting Tips that Work
When Recruiting prospects for your Network Marketing Business, it is easy to get caught up in the moment. Before you know it, your prospects has said “Thank you, but I am not interested” and walked away.
Here is a list of tired and true tips on keeping your prospects interested and signing them up.
1. One of the biggest mistake everyone makes with recruiting is looking for the “perfect” recruit. You often overlook someone who may be really interested in your business. Remember don’t ever judge a book by its cover.
2. Speak to everyone you know about your Business. Don’t be afraid to step outside of your comfort zone. Remember your business is only open when your mouth is.
3. Don’t wait for someone to approach you about your business. Chances are they never will. Be proactive and share your business with everyone you know.
4. When talking to your prospect, listen to their needs and show them how your product or service can help them. For Example, if a prospect is interested in the health benefits that your product offers them and their family, focus on that and respond with the information they need. It is not the time to go into an in-depth conversation about how Dynamic Vertical Compression works.
5. Build a relationship with your prospects, and don’t pressure them. Always remember that some prospects are ready for your opportunity immediately and some are not. Timing is everything, you just have to be patient and persistant (not pushy) until the time is right for them.
6. Communication is a two-way street. Be aware of what your prospect understands. Many of the terms and concepts you present may be new. Keep it simple and ask follow up questions to make sure they understand what you have presented.
7. Do not overwhelm them with all of the details at first. You want them hungry to hear more when you are finished. Share with them enough that they can make a decision, but not more than they can handle. For example, you can cover the points of the compensation plan such as the First Order Fast-Start Bonus in detail because this is how a new person will make their initial money. The details of the reminder of the plan can be covered at a later date.

Why do people believe they can get something for nothing. I recently got a call from a potential prospect and he told me he’s joining an MLM company because they promised him spillover. I said, “They are lying to you!” The guy called me back later and said, “I point-blank asked them if I’d get people put underneath me, and the guy said, Well, we can’t guarantee that.’”
Spillover – Creating a Welfare Mentality
Good people don’t want welfare. They want to build it themselves. They just want to learn the skills they need to build this business and create residual income, money that’s coming in week after week, year after year, and they can will it to their children’s children.
And if you look closely at the compensation plans of the companies that promote spillover, you’ll find out that those who get spillover usually don’t get paid on it. There are other hoops to jump through to get paid on that spillover, and these people rarely ever qualify.
Companies & reps use “spillover” as a tool to drag in people who think they can build a business without doing any work. In other words, no sponsoring, no recruiting. It targets that type of person. When You Say “Spillover”, You Are Targeting Quitters!
When you see a network marketing company that promotes spillover on their website, they’re looking for welfare-minded people. The problem for you is, you can’t build with these people, unless YOU do all the work! That’s what they expect. And when you don’t build their business, they’ll be off somewhere else, looking for a better welfare plan. Conclusion? Run like heck from any company focused on “spillover” – and ALWAYS generate your own leads
