Making the Most of the New Year!

by Admin, under Network Marketing Success

Happy New Year Everyone!!!!!

I love the Beginning of the Year! I don’t care what people say about New Year resolutions, I believe everyone should be working on something that makes them a better “them” What I love about New Years resolutions is it is a great time to reflect on the past year. What did you like about 2009? What would you like to change? There is a lot about 2009 that could have been better. There is a lot that I did not accomplish and will be working on those unreached goals in 2010.

My three main goals for 2010 are!

Reach my ideal weight of 220lb!

Right Now I am 263. So the way I see it I need to lose 43lbs in 52 weeks. So that works out to 1.2lbs a week! I know I can lose 1.2lbs a week for the next 52 weeks. I believe if you want to reach your goals you need to make them realistic! To many people dream too big, which in my opinion there is nothing wrong in reaching for the stars. You just need to break down your goals in manageable pieces!

My second goal is to write a book this year!

No sure on what? but more then likely it will be about Copy-writing or maybe Marketing? Either way I understand that if I am to accomplish this goal I will need to create a mind map of my skills and determine which of the two I am stronger in!

My last goal is really a goal within a goal!

The other night I was watching Julia/Julia with my girlfriend. It is about a lady named Julia who wanted to make a change in her life, but didn’t know how. The only thing she knew was she liked to cook, so she decided to tackle Julia Child’s “Mastering the Art of French Cooking” The idea was she was going to cook one meal a day out of the book for the next 365 days and then blog about it! What I loved about that is it made Julia accountable, even if no one every read her blog and it made her work on her goal every single day. The biggest reason people NEVER reach their goals is because one their goals are never defined! Two they never set a deadline! Three they never hold themselves accountable! and Four they don’t work on them everyday! So what I am going to do for the next 365 days is work on making 1 million dollars! That’s right my final goal is to make my First Million Dollars. Honestly I am not sure how I am going to do it, but I am going to make myself accountable to YOU, whoever YOU are! So everyday I am going to post my “What I have done that day to reach my goal of earning 1 Million Dollars” I would love comments and tips for those that have already reached this massive goal! I know its crazy,” but it’s better to reach for the stars, the worst that happens is I hit the moon!” Wish me Luck!

Goal: Earn 1 Million dollars!

Deadline: Dec 31,2010

The 7 Reasons People Buy

by Admin, under Network Marketing Success

“There are different ways of saying “It pays to advertise.” It pays, too, to have a quality product, adequate distribution, good salesmen. Advertising is just one factor in the balance mechanism that leads to a sale: product, quality, distribution, advertising and selling. Advertising is really salesmanship in print. Although capacity may be oversold, you can never oversell the product. You can always continue to sell the goodwill and the assurance of quality and service that makes buyers seek out your brand beyond all others. Paul B. Buckwalter

Today I am going to give you the 7 reason people buy anything! What I want you to do is look at your offering and ask yourself which reason would a majority of your prospects be using for your product or service. Remember every prospect will have a different reason for the same product or service.

1. Make Money

2. Save money

3. Save time

4. Save Effort

5. Improve Health

6. Increase Pleasure

7. Eliminate Pain

The key is to explain how what you are offering does one of this things. In a way the prospect can relate to in his or her life situation. Sorry so short, but it is very useful information.

People Invest In YOU, Not Your Product!

by Admin, under Network Marketing Success

You can preach a better sermon with your life than with your lips.

Oliver Goldsmith

Who you are as a person is what people take their risk or chance with in your business.

Everyday you are making first impressions and those first impressions can be the reason you are not succeeding in your Network Marketing Business. So when we approach people we need to watch how we come across, because usually within the first 30 seconds of meeting you a potential prospect decides whether or not to listen to what you have to say. It does not matter if you have the cure for cancer, unless the person can see themselves working with you, they will not hear your message.

So how can we become someone people want to follow? Here are nine ways to change peoples perception of you!

  • Speak with authority
People follow leaders. It does not matter if you have a team of 1000 or 1 person, became a leader. Remember your time is very valuable, treat it that way. If you treat your time like its valuable, everyone else will to.
  • God gave you 2 ears and 1 mouth for a reason
Your opinion is irrelevant.  The other person is trying to convey a message to you.  Stop waiting for a pause in the conversation to inject your personal opinion.  Listen to understand, not to respond.  It’s ok to check in or repeat a thought back.  It demonstrates that you are paying attention.  Sit attentively and the other person will eventually get his/her thoughts across to you.
  • Laugh:  Careful.  It’s contagious. When you yawn. Guess what?  Don’t you notice that the person next to you or talking to you lets out a yawn, too?  It’s an unexplainable fact.  The same goes for laughing.  If you are in a room full of people, or just a few, smile at first, snicker, laugh under your breath, then just let one fly!  You will be surprised at the reaction.  There will be at least one other person that will laugh with you, if not the whole room.  If they laugh at you, that’s ok, too.  At least you got them to laugh.
  • Smile: A smile is a powerful weapon; you can even break ice with it. Anonymous
  • Never Complain: You should always been seen as someone who is positive. My mentor told me that negative should go up, meaning that its OK if you down line complains to you, but you should never relay the same message down.
  • Belief creates the actual fact. As you work on creating this character you have written for yourself earlier, you must believe that you are already there.  The actions you commit to get yourself into this character will follow.  Belief develops confidence. Leaders believe they can achieve the impossible.  Leaders allow others to be who they are, yet inspire change, through example. Leaders believe that by changing their own behavior and demonstrating success at it, they can positively change the behaviors of others. Open the book
  • Allow people to come in and enjoy what you have to offer. Create positive relationships with other like-minded people.  Be open to create authentic relationships.  Kill your ego and open your heart. You will be surprised at the number of connections you make, multiplying your network.
  • Stand with your head held high, young man…Slouching with your head hung over makes people believe there is something wrong with you.  Walk straight and hold your head up.  Look people in the eye when you speak to them.  This commands authority.  It will also increase your sales.

Learn how to be who you are.  Speak with authority.  Mute your speaker and listen more.  Laugh and smile more.  Believe in yourself.  Open the door to your life.  Walk in the knowing that you are great.  These are gifts you can’t buy in any department store or dealership. Give these gifts to someone you know, today.
